So, we've decided to start a blog, but not just any blog. This will not be your average health & wellness blog. You will not see any topics on here about "How to Lose 19lbs in One Week", yes that was a tabloid line from a magazine I saw at our local shopping center... Nor will we post anything like "Get A 6 Pack in 10 Days" or "Shred That Stubborn Belly Fat in Just 2 Weeks". We are so so so so so tired of seeing click bait, full of lies.
Side note, if you don't understand sarcasm, well this blog will not be for you so RETREAT before it's too late.... Seriously though, we love dry sarcastic humor so if you are an "all rainbows & unicorn" type of person this blog won't be for you.
Okay back to this whole introduction thing. No, this blog will be real, for real people. Talking about the realities and truths of exercise, health, and wellness. We are tired of reading blogs that are so far from the truth, or realistic for a normal person, you know people with jobs and families, who work late, get up early, don't have time to try to find the truth on figuring out a fitness routine that works and how to be healthier.
For those who don't personally know us. We are Blake & Haylee, also known in our town as the "gym people". We have the honor of owning and operating Relentless Fitness. An idea dreamed of and a reality that's still hard to believe sometimes. We coach fitness classes, personal train, and do nutrition coaching. On the not so glamorous side we clean our gym, fix broken things, pay the bills, maintenance equipment, get to the gym early, stay late, scrub the toilets, you know all the fun stuff no one ever thinks about. We are also BUSY parents to 3 awesome girls, 15, 2, and 2 months old. They are really cool girls, we are truly blessed. We really enjoy spending time with our girls, drinking good coffee, exploring the great outdoors, indulging in smoked meats, and watching Atlanta Braves baseball and Alabama football.
